OVERVIEW

FoodLens is a Chrome extension developed by OfferBot.in that helps users understand their food delivery spending on Swiggy and Zomato. This privacy policy explains how FoodLens handles your data.

The short version: your data never leaves your device. We collect nothing. We store nothing on our servers. There are no servers.

INFORMATION WE ACCESS

When you click “Analyze Orders”, FoodLens accesses:

• Your Swiggy or Zomato order history, fetched directly from those platforms using your existing logged-in browser session
• Browser cookies from swiggy.com and zomato.com, used solely to authenticate the above requests

This access happens entirely within your browser. No data is transmitted to OfferBot.in or any third party.

HOW YOUR DATA IS USED

Your order history is used for one purpose only: to calculate and display your personal spending statistics inside the FoodLens dashboard.

This includes:

• Total amount spent across all orders
• Monthly and yearly spending breakdowns
• Most ordered restaurants and dishes
• Veg vs non-veg spending split

Nothing else.

DATA STORAGE

Processed order data is stored locally on your device using Chrome’s built-in storage (chrome.storage.local). This allows your dashboard to load instantly on repeat visits without re-fetching all orders.

This data exists only on your device. OfferBot.in has no access to it.

You can delete all stored data at any time by removing the FoodLens extension from Chrome or clearing its data via Chrome Settings → Extensions → FoodLens → Clear Storage.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

• We do not collect your personal information
• We do not transmit your data to any server
• We do not share your data with any third party
• We do not sell your data under any circumstances
• We do not use your data for advertising or marketing
• We do not track your browsing activity
• We do not store your cookies beyond the current session
• We do not require you to create an account

THIRD PARTY SERVICES

FoodLens does not integrate with any third party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

The extension communicates only with swiggy.com and zomato.com — the same services you are already using — and only to fetch your own order history on your behalf.

COOKIES

FoodLens reads browser cookies from swiggy.com and zomato.com solely to authenticate API requests on your behalf. These cookies are your existing login credentials for those platforms. They are read in memory during the analysis process and are never stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

FoodLens is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we update this privacy policy, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of FoodLens after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
